Serving is a great way to live out your faith and get involved in the Hills Community
Jesus himself said that He came not to be served but to serve those around him. We believe that when we serve, we can help remove unnecessary barriers that keep people from Jesus.
Connections
Are you passionate about serving? Do you enjoy creating a welcoming environment? The Connections Team helps people feel welcome from the moment they drive into the parking lot to the moment they leave. We greet guests, help people find a seat in service, and lots more. Come find your perfect fit on our team!
Kids
Our goal as Hills Kids Leaders is to introduce our kids to the real Jesus. You can serve in the Nursery (0-2), Kinders (3-5), Elementary (1st-5th), and Middle School (6th-8th). Our teams provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience where students can learn about Jesus in a variety of activities such as crafts, songs, small groups, and bible stories.
Worship
The worship team at The Hills leads our people in musical worship every week through singing and playing musical instruments. Our job is to create an environment of worship and prepare everyone’s heart to hear the sermon. We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings. If you sing or play an instrument we’d love to have you audition to be apart of the team!
Production
The Production Team manages all elements of the weekend experience: from on-stage to back-stage and online broadcasting. Volunteers use their skills to produce the elements of lighting, audio, video, projection, camera operation, and stage management for each weekend service. If you are creative and thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, then production is the perfect serving opportunity for you.
The Commons
Volunteering in the Commons helps us connect Sunday morning energy to the rest of the week! The Commons is one of the many forms of community outreach that the Hills is a part of – and it happens 6 days a week right here in our building! Whether you are greeting guests at our front desk or cleaning our spaces throughout the week, you are serving our community.
